The authors are concerned with the existence of solutions of the m-point boundary value problem \[ (\phi(u'))'=f(t,u,u'),\quad t\in (a,b),\quad u(a)=0,\quad \theta (u'(b))=\sum_{i=1}^{m-2}\alpha_i\theta (u'(\xi_i)), \] where \(\phi\) and \(\theta\) are odd increasing homeomorphisms from \(\mathbb R\) onto \(\mathbb R\) with \(\phi(0)=\theta(0)=0\), \(f:[a,b]\times\mathbb R\times\mathbb R\to\mathbb R\) satisfies the Carathéodory conditions and \(\alpha_i\in\mathbb R\) and \(\xi_i\in(a,b),\) \(i=1,\dots,m-2\), are given numbers with \(a<\xi_1<\dots<\xi_{m-2}<b\). In general, \(\phi\) and \(\theta\) are different. They make use of the topological degree theory to establish their results both in resonance and nonresonance cases. Some examples are considered to illustrate the results obtained.
