Let \(G\) be a finite group of odd order, and let \(A\) be a subgroup of \(\Aut(G)\) such that \((|G|,|A|)=1\). The Isaacs correspondence is a bijection between the set \(\text{Irr}(G)^A\) of \(A\)-invariant irreducible characters of \(G\) and the set \(\text{Irr}(C_G(A))\). Now suppose that \(B\) is an \(A\)-invariant block of \(G\) with defect group \(P\subseteq C_G(A)\). By work of Watanabe and Horimoto, all irreducible characters in \(B\) are \(A\)-invariant, and their Isaacs correspondents are the irreducible characters of a block \(b\) of \(C_G(A)\). Moreover, the blocks \(B\) and \(b\) are Morita equivalent. In the paper under review, the authors investigate this Morita equivalence in more detail. They show that it is given by a \(G\times C_G(A)\)-module which has the diagonal \(\triangle P\) as a vertex and an endo-permutation source. If \(B\) is the principal block of \(G\) then \(b\) is the principal block of \(C_G(A)\), the Isaacs correspondence between \(\text{Irr}(B)\) and \(\text{Irr}(b)\) is given by restriction, and \(B\) and \(b\) are even isomorphic.
