This monograph presents several different approaches how to write the field equations for gravity and electromagnetism. It starts with a short historical introduction in chapter 1. Beginning from chapter 2, tensor algebra is introduced at a level, that the reader should at least know the main ingredients for tensors and cotensors; Hodge star, Clifford algebra and Lorentz group are also introduced in this chapter. The same way, the reader is introduced to spinors (chapter 3), differential geometry (chapter 4) and theories of relativity (chapter 5). In chapters 6 to 13, these concepts are applied to present several physical theories, mainly electromagnetism, gravity and Dirac particles, often by use of Clifford algebras. The appendix introduces to fibre bundles. Many exercises are given in the text, the references are listed at the end of each chapter, and a subject index closes this comprehensive book.
