The pantograph integro-differential equation, which appears within nonlinear dynamics, e.g. collection of current by the pantograph of an electric locomotive, can be solved numerically by Runge-Kutta methods. As an extension and generalization of several known results in the literature the authors all consider the title problem. This requires a very long and detailed investigation. Only one numerical example illustrates the findings concerning the order.
