The authors study the \(R_{\infty}\) properties, i.e. every automorphism of a group has an infinite Reidemeister number, for the family of linear algebraic groups. Mainly, they extend the results by the second author in [Algebra Logic 51, No. 3, 220--231 (2012; Zbl 1264.20046); J. Algebra 446, 489--498 (2016; Zbl 1332.20032)]. The main results are: Theorem 3.2: Let \(G\) be a Chevalley group of type \(\Phi\) over a field \(F\) of zero characteristic. If the transcendence degree of \(F\) over \(\mathbb Q\) is finite, then \(G\) possesses the \(R_{\infty}\)-property. Theorem 4.1: Let \(F\) be an algebraically closed field of zero characteristic such that the transcendence degree of \(F\) over \(\mathbb Q\) is finite. If a reductive linear algebraic group \(G\) over the field \(F\) has a nontrivial quotient group \(G/ R(G)\), where \(R(G)\) is the radical of \(G\), then \(G\) possesses the \(R_{\infty}\) property. At the end, they show a result about the isogredience classes, a concept close related with the Reidemeister classes. They show results for isogredience classes, which are similar to those above. The paper contains a long list of references which basically covers all that is known about the question which groups have the \(R_{\infty}\) property.
