The authors extend results from the following earlier papers: \textit{K.~Bongartz}, Adv. Math. 121, No.~2, 245-287 (1996; Zbl 0862.16007), \textit{G.~Zwara}, Colloq. Math. 72, No.~2, 281-303 (1997; Zbl 0890.16006), \textit{G.~Zwara}, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 127, No.~5, 1313-1322 (1999; Zbl 0927.16008). More exactly, let \(A\) be an Artinian algebra over a commutative Artinian ring \(K\), let \(\Gamma_A\) be the Auslander-Reiten quiver of \(A\). The authors study relationships between the partial orders \(\leq_{\text{ext}}\), \(\leq_R\), and \(\leq\) on the additive category \(\text{add}({\mathcal C})\) of a family \(\mathcal C\) of connected components of \(\Gamma_A\) [see op.cit.]. In particular, they describe conditions under which these partial orders coincide with the order \(\leq_{\mathcal C}\) which occurs in the paper by \textit{A.~Skowroński, G.~Zwara} [Can. J. Math. 48, No.~5, 1091-1120 (1996; Zbl 0867.16006)].
