The Gross-Neveu model is the \((1+1)\)-dimensional Lagrangian quantum field theory in which \(N\) flavor massless Dirac fermions and a auxiliary scalar field are contained. It has been known that, in the large \(N\) limit, the theory has two kinds of stable static solitonic states, kinks and topologically trivial solitons. This paper shows that there are another kind of solitons, i.e., bound states of a kink and a topologically trivial soliton and that there are no additional static solitons in the model. The mass of this new state is discussed. In this analysis, a relation between the spectral theory of Dirac operator on a static back ground and supersymmetric quantum mechanics is used.
