Let \(\{r_ n\}\) be a Rademacher sequence defined on a common probability space and \(\{\lambda_ n\}^ a \)sequence of positive numbers \(0<\lambda_ 1<\lambda_ 2<...<\lambda_ n<..\). such that \(\lambda_ n\to \infty\). A problem of Tandori is that to give a description of the set M of sequences of real numbers \(a=\{a_ n\}\) such that \[ \lambda_ n^{-1}\sum^{n}_{k=1}a_ kr_ k\to 0\quad with\quad probability\quad one. \] The author points a criterion for \(a\in M\) which is an immediate consequence of a known criterion for the strong law. The author gives also sufficient conditions for \(a\in M\) for special classes of sequences. Some of these conditions are also necessary under additional assumptions on the sequences.
