In this paper, the authors are concerned with the nonlocal dispersal equation \[ u_{t}(x,t)=\int_{\Omega}J(x-y)(u(y,t)-u(x,t))dy+\lambda g(x)f(u) \] in \(\Omega \times (0,\infty)\), where \(\Omega \subset\mathbb R^{N}(N \geq 1)\) is a bounded smooth domain, \(J:\mathbb R^{N}\to\mathbb R\) is a nonnegative, continuous function such that \(\int_{\mathbb R^N}J(x)dx=1\), \(\lambda >0\) corresponds to the reciprocal of the dispersal constant and \[ D[u](x,t)=\int_{\Omega}J(x-y)(u(y,t)-u(x,t))dy \] represents the dispersal of the population. The unknown function \(u\) denotes the relative frequency of an allele and is, hence, constrained to have values between \(0\) and \(1\). The coefficient \(g(x)\) is indefinite and \(g(x)f(u)\) represents the effect of natural selection. The authors are concerned with the existence, uniqueness and asymptotic stability of steady-states which are between 0 and 1.
