The authors discuss a hybridized discontinuous Galerkin method for 2D fractional convection-diffusion equations. They first introduce some basic definitions, notations and lemmas which are helpful to their analysis. Then they present a computational scheme and perform the stability and convergence analysis for the 2D space fractional convection-diffusion equations. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the theory discussed.
