The authors study the appearance of limit cycles and isochronicity at infinity in cubic vector fields with no singular point at infinity. They present a recursive formula to compute the singular point quantities for a class of cubic systems and by means of this formula they calculate the first seven such quantities. The authors also prove that in this case the corresponding vector field can have at most seven limit cycles in a neighborhood of infinity and, finally, give the isochronous center conditions at infinity.
