The authors investigate the twistor equation in Lorentzian spin geometry with the goal of determining the local conformal geometry of those Lorentzian manifolds which admit twistor spinors inducing light-like Dirac currents. They also derive all local geometries with singularity-free twistor spinors in dimension \(n\leq 7\). Contents include: An introduction; The twistor equation on spinors; Twistor spinors on Lorentzian spin manifolds with examples (Brinkmann spaces with a special Kähler flag, Einstein-Sasaki manifolds, and Fefferman spaces); Twistor spinors inducing light-like Dirac currents; and Twistor spinors in dimension \(n\leq 7\), and a bibliography of 39 items.
