The paper is concerned with the asymptotics (\(t\to\infty\)) of the solution \(u\) and its higher derivatives of the equation \[ u(x,t)=\int_{{\mathbb R}^N}G(x-y,t)\varphi(y)dy+ \int_0^t\int_{{\mathbb R}^N}G(x-y,t-s)f(y,s,u(y,s))ds. \] Here, \(G\) is supposed to satisfy some technical conditions which hold for the fundamental solution for the linear diffusion equation \[ \frac{\partial u}{\partial t}+(-\Delta)^{\theta} u=0 \] in \({\mathbb R}^N\) of integer or fractional order. More precisely, quantitative convergence estimates of \(u(t)\) (and its gradients) to certain multiples of \(G\) (and its gradient) are shown in Lebesgue and weighted Lebesgue spaces in term of the norm of \(\varphi\) from the weighted Lebesgue space \(L_1({\mathbb R}^N,(1+| x|^K)dx)\) in the case \(f=0\). Similar estimates are obtained if \(f\) is independent of \(u\), and then finally also for the general case, assuming some weighted Lipschitz condition of \(f\) and that \(u\) itself belongs to some weighted Lebesgue space. The result is applied to \[ \frac{\partial u}{\partial t}= -(-\Delta)^{\theta}u+a(x,t)| u|^{p-1}u \] with initial condition \(u(x,0)=\varphi(x)\) and integer and non-integer \(\theta\).
