Galois theory and double central extensions (Q1770303): Difference between revisions

The authors construct a particular Galois structure \(\Gamma\) between extensions and central extensions in an Mal'tsev variety, and give a simplified definition of \(\Gamma\)-covering in section 3. In section 4, the authors define the double central extensions and show that any \(\Gamma\)-covering is a double central extension. In the last section, the equivalence of the notions of \(\Gamma\)-covering and double central extension are investigated.
