Simplicial cohomology with coefficients in symmetric categorical groups (Q1771113): Difference between revisions

The authors introduce and study a cohomology theory for simplicial sets with coefficients in symmetric categorical groups. To any symmetric categorical group a sequence of simplicial sets is associated, allowing to give a representation theorem for this cohomology. An adjunction result is proved, and as an application it is shown how symmetric categorical groups model the homotopy types of certain spaces.
