In the work the equation \(u_t = \frac12 u_{xx} + \varepsilon x^m u^n u^p_x\) is considered. The authors use renormalization group methods, in particular, to examine terms \(O(\varepsilon^2)\) and higher. For some cases these results are verified by rigorous calculations.
