The system of ordinary differential equations \[ x'=f(x,t)+ \varepsilon g\bigl(x,z(t)\bigr), \quad z(t)= \bigl(\Gamma[z_0] Lx\bigr)(t), \tag{1} \] is considered with \(x\in\mathbb{R}^d\), \(f(x,t)\) is \(T\)-periodic in \(t\), \(\varepsilon\) is a small parameter, \(L:\mathbb{R}^d\to\mathbb{R}^m\) is a linear operator which transforms functions \(u:\mathbb{R}_+ \to\mathbb{R}^m\), \(\mathbb{R}_+=[0,\infty)\) to functions \(z:\mathbb{R}_+\to Z\), where \(Z\) is a complete metric space equipped with a metric \(\rho_z\). It is noted that the notion \((\Gamma[z_0]u)(t)\) refers to the value of the function \(x=\Gamma [z_0]u\) at time \(t\). The system (1) describes so-called hysteresis perturbations. Existence and asymptotic stability of the periodic solutions to (1) are discussed for small \(\varepsilon\) assuming that the operator \(\Gamma\) has typical ``hysteretic'' properties. Several theorems are proved.
