Let \(L\) be a densely defined unbounded linear operator, and \(N\) a nonlinear map on a Hilbert space. The authors study the operator equation \(Lu=N(u)\), where the kernel of \(L\) may be nontrivial, and no symmetry is required on \(L\), but the nonlinearity is supposed to have sublinear growth.
