The authors study the global existence of the so-called self-similar solutions of the Cauchy problem for nonlinear integro-differential equation of the form \[ \partial u(t)/\partial t= \int^t_0 R_\alpha(t- s)\Delta u(s)\,ds+ \int^t_0 R_\alpha(t- s) f(u(s))\,ds,\tag{1} \] where \(0< \alpha< 1\), \(u(t)= u(x,t)\), \(\psi= \psi(x)\), \(R_\alpha= t^{\alpha-1}/\Gamma(\alpha)\), \(x\in\mathbb{R}^n\), \(t\in\mathbb{R}_+\) and \(f(u)= u|u|^pu\) or \(fu= uu^{p+1}\) \((p> 0)\). Using the space-time estimates it is proved that the Cauchy problem for (1) has a unique self-similar solution.
