Let \((X,d)\) be a complete metric space, \(f:X \to X\) a single-valued operator and \(S:X \multimap X\) a multivalued operator. An element \(x\in X\) is a coincidence point of \(f\) and \(S\) iff \(f(x) \in S(x)\). In this paper, the authors give some coincidence theorems for operators satisfying a rational inequality. Reviewer's remark: There are several misprints in this paper.
