Let \(\Omega\) be a domain in the complex plane. The authors of the article under review consider composition operators \(C_n\) of the form \[ C_nf=f\circ \varphi_n, \] and the differentiation operator \(D\), \(Df=f'\). Let \(M\) be a totally bounded set of holomorphic functions in \(\Omega\). The authors study the question of how fast \(M\) can be approximated by \(\{C_nf:n>0\}\) or \(\{D^nf:n>0\}\) for one function \(f\).
