One analyzes the equilibrium of a class of fully Hamiltonian models referred to as dynamical Lorentz gases. The exact equation of the model is displayed, and then one introduces a coupled random walk in the particle's momentum and position which provides a good approximation of the exact dynamics, and which is the milestone of the paper. Then one obtains a Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov equation for the particle velocity distribution, one obtains results on the final particle temperature, and then one considers particle's motion for which some numerical results are derived.
