Fixed point theorems for fuzzy contractive mappings in left (right) \(K\)-sequentially complete quasi-pseudo-metric spaces are proved. For similar results, see the papers of \textit{V. Gregori} and \textit{J. Pastor} [Rend. Ist. Mat. Univ. Trieste 30, Suppl., 103--109 (1999; Zbl 0935.54032)] and \textit{V. Gregori} and \textit{S. Romaguera} [Indian J.
