The author considers critical Ising models defined on graphs satisfying a geometric property called isoradiality and explicitly relates the dimer model associated to the critical Ising model and critical cycle rooted spanning forests. This relation is established through characteristic polynomials. The main result is the following theorem. Consider a critical Ising model defined on an infinite, \(\mathbb{Z}^2\)-periodic isoradial graph \(G\). Then, there exists an explicit way of constructing critical cycle rooted spanning forests of fundamental domain \(\mathcal{G}/\mathbb{Z}^2\), counted by the critical dimer characteristic polynomial, from critical cycle rooted spanning forests of \(G/\mathbb{Z}^2\) counted by the critical Laplacian characteristic polynomial.
