Let \(\mathbb{D\;}\)be the unit disk of the complex plane and \(\partial \mathbb{D}\) be the boundary of \(\mathbb{D}\). Denote the set of all homomorphic functions on \(\mathbb{D}\) by \(\mathcal{H}\left( \mathbb{D}\right)\). For \(\varphi\) and \(f\) in \(\mathcal{H}\left( \mathbb{D}\right) ,\) the Volterra operator \(V_{\varphi}\) acting on \(f\) is defined by \[ V_{\varphi}\left( f\right) \left( z\right) =\int\limits_{0}^{z}f\left( w\right) \varphi^{\prime}\left( w\right) dw,\text{ }z\in\mathbb{D}. \] The following result is proved in the paper. Let \(\alpha>-1,\) \(0<p,q\leq\infty\) and \(\varphi\in\mathcal{H}\left( \mathbb{D}\right) .\) (a) If \(0<p\leq\min\left\{ 2,q\right\} \leq\infty,\) then \(V_{\varphi }:\mathcal{A}_{p}^{\alpha}\rightarrow\mathcal{H}^{q}\) is bounded iff \(\varphi\in\mathcal{B}^{1+\frac{1}{q}-\frac{\alpha+2}{p}}.\) (b) If \(2<p\leq q<\infty,\) then \(V_{\varphi}:\mathcal{A}_{p}^{\alpha }\rightarrow\mathcal{H}^{q}\) is bounded iff \(\left| \varphi^{\prime }\left( z\right) \right| ^{\frac{2p}{p-2}}\left( 1-\left| z\right| \right) \frac{p-2\alpha}{p-2}\,dA\left( z\right) \) is a \(\frac{p\left( q-2\right) }{q\left( p-2\right) }\) Carleson measure. (c) If \(\sigma<0\) and \(2\leq q<p\leq\infty,\) then \(V_{\varphi}:\mathcal{A} _{p}^{\alpha}\rightarrow\mathcal{H}^{q}\) is bounded iff \[ \int_{\Gamma _{\sigma\left( \zeta\right) }}\left| \varphi^{\prime}\left( z\right) \right| ^{\frac{2p}{p-2}}\left( 1-\left| z\right| \right) \frac{2\left( 1-\alpha\right) }{p-2}\,dA\left( z\right) \] is in \(L^{\frac{\left( p-2\right) q}{2\left( p-q\right) }}\).
