The author studies a kinematic mapping \(\kappa\) of projective motions \(A\) in the \(n\)-dimensional real projective space \(\mathbb P^ n\) onto the set \(P^ m\) of all proportional \((n+1)\times (n+1)\)-matrices. The image \(\Phi_ n\) of all singular collineations is an algebraic hypersurface of order \((n+1)\), which consists of certain sets of generators. The author shows that the generators ``of the first kind'' may be used as centers to define linear mappings \(\Lambda_ X\), which map the element of \(P^ m\) to the image of the point \(X\) under the given collineation \(A\). These ideas are used to give theorems on the image of Darboux-motions and motions with projectively equivalent paths in \(\mathbb P^ n\). Then the author shows properties of the affine, equiaffine and Euclidean Darboux-motions -- some of them differ from the general projective results.
