The real nonnegative inverse eigenvalue problem (RNIEP) is the problem of determining necessary and sufficient conditions for a list of real numbers to be the spectrum of an entrywise nonnegative matrix. This problem is in general unsolved. The authors first give an overview of known sufficient conditions for the RNIEP. They compare these conditions and establish various inclusion or independency relations between them. They conclude with a map showing all the relations between the sufficient conditions studied and also give a collection of examples to explain these relations. The paper is well organized and is certainly a very useful reference for anyone working on the RNIEP.
