This paper shows that Hilbert's tenth problem (solution of Diophantine equation systems) is not algorithmically solvable over any function field \(F\) which is finitely generated over an algebraic extension \(C\) of the 2-element field such that \(C\) has some degree 2 extension. The methods are similar to those of A. Shlapentokh, who proved the corresponding theorem for odd characteristic, and involve T. Pheidas' results on the relation on integers \(n,m\in \mathbb{N}\) that \(\exists s\in \mathbb{N}, m=p^sn\) where \(p\) is a fixed prime.
