This paper deals with a smooth approximate solution of the two-point boundary value problem \(y''=f(x)y+g(x)\), \(y(a)=\alpha_0\), \(y(b)=\alpha_1\) using parametric cubic spline function. A uniformly convergent uniform mesh difference scheme is derived. Two numerical examples illustrating the comparative performance of this method with some earlier numerical methods are presented.
