The hydrodynamic limits of microscopic stochastic dynamics provide us a way to understand the macroscopic fundamental equations in statistical physics, such as the Euler equations, the Navier-Stokes equations and so on. In the past years, there have been a great progress on this subject. The author outlines the main lines of the progress and in particular, the very recent progress on the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations, in terms of the so-called relative entropy method due to the author.
