The author puts some well-known results on certain finite difference (BGG-) operators associated with elements of the Weyl group [see the author's paper, Duke Math. J. 49, 1-21 (1982; Zbl 0517.35026)] in a more general framework which is connected with reflection groups on manifolds [see \textit{M. W. Davis}, Ann. Math., II. Ser. 117, 293-324 (1983; Zbl 0531.57041)].
