It is known that at zero temperature, the ground state properties of a quantum system may change dramatically owing to pure quantum fluctuation. In this paper, the authors study the quantum critical phenomena and factorization transition in the one-dimensional anisotropy \(XY\) model in a transverse field with uniform coupling interaction and periodic-two one. Using numerical analysis, the scaling behavior and universality are studied. Moreover, it is shown that the Wigner-Yanase skew information can be a useful quantity for charactering the criticality and factorization phenomena.
