This paper presents an analysis of the solution of two interesting hyperbolic problems as a test case for a finite volume method with a new grid refinement techniques. A number of theorems are developed for theoretical foundation. The numerical experiments reveal that at the interaction point of the four shocks two curved discontinuities developed, and the solution is in good agreement with the analytical solution. A number of experiments are shown for theoretical support.
