The recently formulated Runge-Kutta version of the Scheifele \(G\)-function method is applied and compared (with respect to its accuracy) with other special methods for numerical integration of long-term satellite orbits formulated in either Burdet-Ferrandiz or Kustaanheimo-Stiefel variables. The method is especially designed for numerical integration of perturbed oscillators, and proves to be excellent as it has the small perturbation parameter as a factor of the local truncation error.
