The authors consider the Laurent polynomial first integrals for general semi-quasihomogeneous systems, by using the so-called Kowalevsky exponents. They present criteria for nonexistence and partial existence of nontrivial Laurent polynomial integrals for general semi-quasi\-homogeneous systems. They also discuss the partial integrability for semi-quasihomogeneous systems. In closing, they present some examples to illustrate their results.
