The authors derive sufficient conditions for the global controllability of nonlinear Volterra integrodifferential systems, where the controls are continuous functions with prescribed initial and final values. The result is obtained after a transformation of the given control system into a boundary value problem, followed by an application of the Schaefer fixed point theorem.
