    Authors study an initial-boundary value problem \[ \rho _t+(\rho u)_x=0 \] \[ \rho (u_t+uu_x)+p_x=(\nu u_x)_x \] \[ \rho (e_t+ue_x)+pu_x=(\kappa \theta _x)_x+\nu u_x^2+\lambda \rho \varphi z \] \[ \rho (z_t+u z_x)=(d\rho z_x)_x-\rho \varphi z \] in space-time cylinder \((0,1)\times (0,T)\) with conditions \((\rho ,u,\theta ,z)(x,0)=(\rho _0,u_0,\theta _0,z_0)(x) ,\) for \(x\in (0,1)\), \((u,\theta _x,z_x)| _{x=0}=(u,\theta _x,z_x)| _{x=1}=0. \) Unknown functions are \(\rho ,u,\theta ,z\). Positive constants \(\nu , \lambda , d\) are given and \(p(\rho ,\theta )=R\rho \theta +a\theta ^4/3\), \(e(\rho ,\theta )=c_V\theta +a\theta ^4/\rho \) and \(\varphi (\theta )=K\theta ^{\beta }\text{e}^{-A/\theta }\) for some \(R,a,c_V,K,\beta ,A>0\). It is assumed that \(\kappa (\rho ,\theta )\) behaves as \((1+\theta )^q\) for some \(q> 0\) or \(\kappa \) is a positive constant. If \(\beta \in [0,8]\) and \((\rho _0,u_0,\theta _0,z_0)\in H^2(0,1)\), the existence of a unique global solution \((\rho ,u,\theta ,z)\in L^{\infty }(0,T,H^2(0,1))\) is shown.
