The authors propose to weaken the Bewley condition on production sets to allow applications to continuous-time problems like peak-load pricing with interruptible consumer and input demands. This condition is essential to ensure the existence of an equilibrium price density if \(L^{\infty}\) is the commodity space. The results obtained settle the Boiteux conjecture on the shifting peak problem.
