The authors investigate an integral transform of the type \[ \Bigl(L^{(\beta)}_{\gamma, \sigma}f\Bigr) (x)=\int^\infty_0 \lambda^{(\beta)}_{\gamma, \sigma}(xt) f(t)dt \quad (x>0),\tag{*} \] with the kernel given by \[ \begin{multlined} \lambda^{(\beta)}_{\gamma,\sigma} (\theta)= {\beta\over \Gamma(1+ \gamma-1/ \beta)} \int^\infty_1 (t^\beta-1)^{\gamma-1/ \beta}t^\sigma e^{-\theta t}dt,\\ \bigl(\beta>0; \text{Re}(\gamma) >1/\beta-1; \;\sigma\in\mathbb{R}; \text{ Re}(\theta)> 0\bigr). \end{multlined} \tag{**} \] The transform (*) is a modified form of the Bessel-type integral transform. Apart form mentioning the properties such as the Mellin image, asymptotic behaviour near zero and infinity etc. of the function (**), the mapping properties, the compositions with well-known fractional calculus operators of Riemann-Liouville type of the integral transform (*) are studied in the McBride spaces \(F_{p,\mu}\) and \(F_{p,\mu}'\).
