This article deals with a discrete version of a predator-prey system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response, given by \[ \begin{aligned} x_{k+1} &= x_k\exp\left(a_k-b_k x_k-\frac{c_k y_k}{\alpha_k +\beta_k x_k +\gamma_k y_k}\right),\\ y_{k+1} &= y_k\exp\left( -d_k + \frac{f_k x_k}{\alpha_k + \beta_k x_k +\gamma_k y_k}\right), \end{aligned} \] where the coefficients are assumed to be periodic. This equation serves as a model for populations living in a periodic environment. The authors show the existence of a positive periodic solution by means of the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory.
