The title is misleading; most relations given involve \textit{associated} hypergeometric series; moreover, only the Gaussian hypergeometric series \( _{2}^{{}}F_{1}^{{}}\) is considered. The results are rather trivial and obtained by elementary considerations. Many formulas are longer than necessary, because the authors do not use the Pochhammer symbol. There are rediscoveries: Theorem 2 and Corollary 4 are special cases of an expansion from 1926 due to Fox, and Theorem 3 is the well known formula for the \(i\)'th derivative of \(_{2}^{{}}F_{1}^{{}}.\)
