Textures, introduced by the first author in 1992, were studied by the first two authors [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 110, No. 2, 227--235 (2000; Zbl 0953.54010)]. In this paper, the authors define and investigate direlations and difunctions for textures, categories whose objects are textures and whose morphisms are difunctions or special point functions, several subcategories of this categories and functors between them.
