Let \(R\) be a polynomial ring over a field \(k\). The authors' aim is to study the ideals of \( R\) generated by a reverse lexsegment of monomials. They consider a subclass of these ideals, the so-called completly reverse lexsegment ideals, and determine conditions under which the ideals in this class have a linear resolution. Reverse lexsegments can be seen as ordinary lexsegments with respect to a different order on the variables. Hence the results in the paper are related to (and some of them follows from) results in [\textit{E. De Negri} and \textit{J. Herzog}, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 126, No. 12, 3467--3473 (1998; Zbl 0906.13004)].
