The book is devoted to the investigation of nonlinear models of economic systems. The discussed concepts are verified on examples of the German labor market. In the book the earlier considered nonlinear models and chaotic dynamics are discussed and the most popular methods of nonlinear deterministic time series are sketched. The first two chapters of the book deal with neoclassic labor market models. In the subsequent chapters different nonlinear models are suggested and discussed. In particular, the implications arising from the introduction of nonlinear supply curves are discussed. It is shown that nonlinear supply curve (or nonlinear labor supply curve) can change the dynamics of the labor market completely. The possible rational behavior of auctioneer in dependence of arising conditions are studied. The flow models of the labor market are discussed, which give a full picture of different transitions and their causes. In this well written book one may found many interesting topics, facts, thoughts, explanations and more arising in real economic situations.
