The authors prove the existence of a nontrivial solution to a hemivariational inequality at resonance involving the \(p\)-Laplacian. The resonance considered in the paper concerns the first eigenvalue of the \(p\)-Laplacian. The nonsmooth nonlinearities entering the respective boundary value problem are bounded. The approach is variational relying on the locally Lipschitz version of the Mountain Pass Theorem in the form due to K. C. Chang.
