The authors introduce Sobolev spaces and Ricci curvature on Alexandrov spaces and investigate a property of Perelman's concave functions. The Poisson equations and mean value inequality on Alexandrov spaces are discussed. They establish a Bochner-type formula and prove Yau's gradient estimates on Alexandrov spaces.
