Let \(C\) be a nonempty subset of a normed space \(X\), \(Q\) be a compact topological space and \(f_ \alpha: X\to \overline{\mathbb{R}}\) for every \(\alpha\in Q\). The authors are concerned with the problem \(\min\{F(x):= \sup_{\alpha\in Q} f_ \alpha(x)\mid x\in C\}\). They establish necessary optimality conditions for this problem by using some weak upper approximations for the derivatives of the functions \(f_ \alpha\). As particular cases they reobtain known optimality conditions.
