In this paper, the authors study generalized numerical semigroups (GNS), i.e. submonoids of \((\mathbb{N}^n,+)\) with a finite set of generators and finite complement in \(\mathbb{N}^n\), \(n\geq 2\). They introduce the concept of corner element which is a generalization of the concept of conductor in numerical semigroups. If \(S\) is a GNS, the elements of \(\mathbb{N}^n\setminus S\) are called gaps and the cardinality of this set is called the genus of \(S\). The author give bounds which relate the genus and the corner of this kind of semigroups. They also construct a tree fixing the corner and give lower and upper bounds for the number of GNS with a fixed corner. Moreover, an algorithm for computing them is provided.
