The authors consider a regular infinite hyperbolic iterated function system such that the associated Frobenius-Perron operator \(\mathcal L\) is almost periodic (see \textit{R. D. Mauldin} and \textit{M. Urbański} [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., III. Ser. 73, No. 1, 105-154 (1996; Zbl 0852.28005)] for definitions and basic properties of such systems). It is known that for such a system there exists a unique invariant probability measure \(\mu\) supported on \(J\), the limit set of the system, and which is equivalent to the conformal measure \(m\) of the system. The density \(\rho\) of \(\mu\) with respect to \(m\) is a unique positive continuous function on \(J\) such that \({\mathcal L}\rho=\rho\) and \(\int\rho dm=1\). Authors prove that: (1) \(\rho\) has a unique extension to a positive continuous function \(\widetilde{\rho}\) on \(X\) such that \({\mathcal L}\widetilde{\rho}=\widetilde{\rho}\) and \(\int\widetilde{\rho} dm=1\). (2) \(\{ {\mathcal L}(1_X)\}_{n=1}^{\infty}\) converges uniformly to \(\widetilde{\rho}\) on \(X\).
