Let \(\mathcal{C}_\mathfrak{g}\) be the category of finite dimensional integrable modules over \(U'_q(\mathfrak{g})\), the quantum affine algebra over an algebraically closed field \(\Bbbk\) of characteristic zero. For \(M, N\) good modules of \(\mathcal{C}_\mathfrak{g}\), there exists a polynomial \(d_{M, N}(z)\in \Bbbk[z]\), called the denominator of \(M\) and \(N\), that controls the representation theory for \(\mathcal{C}_\mathfrak{g}\). The authors compute the denominator formula \(d_{i, j}(z)\) between two fundamental representations \(V(\varpi_i)\) and \(V(\varpi_j)\). Then they apply the obtained formula to the context of the generalized Schur-Weyl duality, in order to: (a). Give Dorey's rule for all exceptional affine types; (b). Prove the conjectures of \textit{S.-J. Kang} et al. [Duke Math. J. 164, No. 8, 1549--1602 (2015; Zbl 1323.81046)] and \textit{M. Kashiwara} and \textit{S.-j. Oh} [J. Algebr. Comb. 49, No. 4, 401--435 (2019; Zbl 1479.17027)]; (c). Provide partial answers for Frenkel-Hernandez conjectures [\textit{E. Frenkel} and \textit{D. Hernandez}, Math. Ann. 349, No. 3, 705--746 (2011; Zbl 1219.17007)] on Langlands duality for finite dimensional representations of quantum affine algebras of exceptional types.
